The Carlson BRx7 Rover Set combines a professional multi-constellation GNSS receiver with a rugged Carlson field controller, surveying software and essential pole accessories. It is designed for surveyors, construction teams, civil engineers, GIS professionals and other users who need reliable centimetre-level positioning for measuring, setting out and recording site information.

Used as a network rover, the BRx7 connects to an NTRIP or VRS correction service through its integrated cellular modem or through the internet connection of the field controller. It can also receive corrections over UHF radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or a serial connection, making it suitable for organisations working with different correction sources and existing survey equipment.

Measure efficiently without constantly levelling the pole

Tilt compensation allows the pole to be held at an angle while the receiver calculates the position of the pole tip. In practical fieldwork, this makes it easier to measure building corners, kerbs, utility points, fence lines and locations close to machinery or vegetation. Operators spend less time watching the pole bubble and can collect points more comfortably on slopes, excavations and uneven construction sites.
