A complete RTK rover for everyday field surveying
The SingularXYZ X1 Rover Set with SC300 controller gives surveyors and construction teams the equipment needed to collect accurate GNSS positions, set out design points and work with network RTK corrections. The set brings together a lightweight multi-constellation receiver and a rugged Android field controller in one practical surveying configuration.
It is well suited to boundary and topographic surveys, construction setting out, road and infrastructure work, earthworks, utility mapping, GIS data collection and other jobs that require reliable centimetre-level positioning. Its compact receiver is particularly useful for crews that move frequently between points or carry their equipment across large sites.
Full-constellation GNSS tracking
The X1 uses 1408 channels to track signals from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC and SBAS. Tracking several constellations and frequencies gives the receiver access to more satellites across the sky, which supports faster RTK initialisation and more consistent positioning when working around buildings, vegetation or other partial obstructions.
Specified RTK accuracy is 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontally and 15 mm + 1 ppm vertically under suitable operating conditions. In practical fieldwork, this makes the rover suitable for detailed point collection, site control checks and accurate stakeout once a fixed RTK solution has been achieved.
Measure with the pole tilted
An integrated IMU supports tilt surveying at angles of up to 60°. The operator does not need to level the pole precisely before every measurement, helping speed up point collection and making it easier to reach positions beside walls, fences, trenches, parked machinery and other obstacles.
Tilt compensation is especially useful during construction layout and high-volume topographic work, where repeatedly centring a bubble can slow progress. It also provides a more comfortable way to measure while maintaining a clear view of the controller screen.
Flexible RTK correction options
The receiver supports several correction workflows, allowing it to fit into different surveying environments. Its integrated 4G modem can connect directly to an NTRIP or CORS service using a SIM card. Corrections can also be received through the internet connection of the field controller.
For sites without dependable mobile coverage, the integrated 410–470 MHz UHF radio can receive corrections from a compatible local base station. The X1 also supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC, simplifying communication with the controller and access to receiver settings.
- Network RTK through integrated 4G and NTRIP
- Phone-internet corrections through the field controller
- Internal UHF radio for local base-and-rover operation
- Static data recording for post-processing workflows
SC300 Android field controller
The included SC300 data collector runs Android 12 and uses an octa-core 2.0 GHz processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. This gives field crews a responsive platform for survey software, coordinate files, CAD information and collected project data.
Its 6-inch touchscreen provides room to view maps, point information and stakeout guidance, while the physical keyboard supports reliable data entry in active field conditions. The controller can be used for project setup, coordinate-system management, point measurement, detail surveys, control-point work, CAD mapping and point or line stakeout.
Designed for long working days
The X1 weighs approximately 870 g and measures only 133.5 mm in diameter by 67 mm high. Its small format reduces the weight carried at the top of the pole and makes the receiver easier to transport between sites.
A 6700 mAh internal battery provides more than 20 hours of receiver operation under stated conditions. USB Type-C fast charging makes it easier to recharge the unit using commonly available charging equipment. The SC300 is also designed for extended field operation, helping crews complete normal working days without frequent battery changes.
Rugged protection for construction and survey sites
The X1 receiver has an IP68-rated housing for protection against dust and water. It is designed to withstand a drop of up to 2 metres onto concrete, giving field teams additional confidence when working around excavations, machinery and unfinished terrain.
Its specified operating-temperature range of -40°C to +65°C supports use across demanding climates. As with any precision survey instrument, the receiver should still be transported securely and handled with appropriate care.
Practical surveying workflows
Used with compatible SingularXYZ field software, the rover supports point surveys, detail collection, control-point measurement, point and line stakeout and CAD-based mapping. Survey data can be organised using point names and feature codes, while project coordinate systems can be configured for local or national requirements.
The X1 also records static GNSS observations in its internal memory. Data can be transferred through USB Type-C or the receiver’s browser-based WebUI and used in post-processing workflows when required.
Who is this rover set for?
The SingularXYZ X1 Rover Set is a practical choice for professional surveyors, construction engineers, site supervisors, utility contractors, GIS teams and drone operators who need accurate ground-control or check-point coordinates. It also suits smaller construction crews looking for a straightforward way to introduce RTK measurement and stakeout into their daily work.
Experienced users can take advantage of its multiple correction links and static-measurement functions, while less specialised operators benefit from the Android workflow, compact equipment and tilt-assisted point collection.
Buying and support from Global GPS Systems
Global GPS Systems can help configure the SingularXYZ X1 Rover Set for your preferred correction method, regional coordinate system and field workflow. This is important when choosing between a CORS subscription, controller-based internet corrections or operation with a local GNSS base station.
Technical support is available for receiver setup, controller connection and RTK configuration, helping your team begin measuring with a correctly matched field solution.
