Complete RTK GNSS Rover Set for Surveying and Setting Out
The SingularXYZ X1 Pro RTK GNSS Rover Set gives field crews the receiver and controller needed for efficient centimetre-level surveying. It pairs the lightweight X1 Pro GNSS receiver with the SC300 Android field controller, creating a practical system for measuring points, setting out designs and recording accurate location data.
This rover set is suitable for surveyors, construction teams, civil engineers, utility contractors, GIS professionals and drone operators. Typical work includes topographic surveys, site layout, as-built checks, asset mapping, boundary work, road surveys and collecting ground control points for aerial mapping.
Full-Constellation GNSS Tracking
The X1 Pro contains a 1,408-channel GNSS engine that tracks GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, NavIC and SBAS signals. Using several constellations and frequencies gives the receiver access to more satellite observations throughout the working day.
For the operator, this can improve satellite availability when working near buildings, beneath partial tree cover or around machinery. Site conditions still affect GNSS performance, but full-constellation tracking gives the receiver more information from which to calculate a position.
Under suitable conditions, the X1 Pro is specified for RTK accuracy of 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontally and 15 mm + 1 ppm vertically. RTK initialization typically takes less than five seconds when adequate satellite visibility and correction data are available.
Measure Difficult Points with 60 Degree IMU Tilt
The integrated IMU compensates for pole angles of up to 60°. Operators do not need to hold the survey pole perfectly vertical for every observation, which can make detail surveys and setting-out work faster and more comfortable.
Tilt measurement is particularly useful beside walls, beneath obstacles, at building corners, along kerbs and inside trenches. It also helps when a point cannot be occupied directly because of parked equipment, vegetation or uneven ground.
The specified tilt accuracy is within 2.5 cm at angles up to 60° under suitable operating conditions. As with standard GNSS measurements, the final result depends on satellite visibility, correction quality, pole setup and the surrounding environment.
Connect to RTK Corrections through 4G or UHF
The X1 Pro can receive network corrections through its integrated 4G modem. With an appropriate SIM card and NTRIP subscription, the receiver can connect to a compatible CORS or RTK network without requiring a local base receiver on every project.
An integrated 410–470 MHz UHF radio is also available for work with a local GNSS base station. In optimal conditions, the enhanced internal radio is specified for ranges of up to 15 km. Actual radio coverage depends on terrain, antenna position, interference, transmission settings and local radio regulations.
Bluetooth, NFC and Wi-Fi provide additional connection options. NFC can simplify pairing with compatible equipment, while the receiver’s Wi-Fi WebUI allows users to check its status, change settings, transfer static data and install system updates.
SC300 Android Field Controller
The included SC300 is designed for survey work that requires both touchscreen operation and physical data-entry keys. Its 6-inch HD display provides space for maps, point information and stakeout guidance, while the QWERTY keyboard makes it easier to enter point names, feature codes and field notes while wearing work gloves.
The controller runs Android 12 on an eight-core 2.0 GHz processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. This provides a responsive platform for SingularPad and compatible Android surveying software, while leaving room for project files, drawings and exported survey data.
Built-in 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC support communication with the GNSS receiver, correction services and office systems. The controller also includes a 13-megapixel rear camera, which can be used to add site photographs to field records where supported by the chosen software.
Touchscreen and Keyboard for Practical Fieldwork
Construction and surveying work often requires frequent switching between a map, numerical measurements and coded point information. The SC300 combines a five-point capacitive touchscreen with a full physical keyboard so crews can use the input method that suits the task.
The touchscreen is useful for selecting points and navigating drawings, while physical keys provide positive feedback when typing codes or controlling the software. Sound, vibration and LED notifications provide additional status feedback during field operation.
Long Battery Life for Full Working Days
The X1 Pro uses an internal 6,700 mAh battery with a stated operating time of more than 20 hours, depending on the selected communication and operating modes. Fast charging through USB Type-C takes approximately three hours.
The SC300 has a 7,700 mAh battery rated for more than 16 hours of operation with the screen active. Its USB Type-C fast-charging system can recharge the controller in less than four hours under the specified charging conditions.
Together, the receiver and controller are designed to support long survey sessions without routine battery changes. USB Type-C charging also makes it practical to recharge the equipment from suitable vehicle chargers or field power banks.
Rugged Equipment for Outdoor Sites
The X1 Pro receiver has an IP68 water and dust protection rating and a magnesium-aluminium alloy housing. It is designed to survive a two-metre drop onto concrete and has an operating temperature range from −40°C to +65°C.
The SC300 controller is rated IP67 and is designed to withstand a 1.5-metre drop onto concrete. Its stated operating range is −20°C to +55°C. These ratings make the rover set suitable for regular use on construction sites, roads, farms, utility projects and other outdoor working environments.
Compact Receiver for Mobile Survey Crews
The X1 Pro measures approximately 133.5 mm in diameter and 67 mm high, with a weight of about 870 g. Its compact dimensions reduce the weight carried at the top of the survey pole, which is useful for operators who collect many points or walk long distances across a project.
A 1.1-inch OLED screen on the receiver displays important status information without requiring the operator to open the controller software. Four indicator lights show battery, satellite tracking, correction transmission and communication or static-recording status.
Surveying and Stakeout Workflows
When used with compatible field software, the rover set can support common workflows such as point surveying, detail collection, point stakeout, line stakeout, control measurements and CAD-based setting out.
Construction crews can load site information into the controller and navigate to design points in the field. Surveyors can record coordinates with point names, descriptions and feature codes, while GIS teams can collect accurate positions for utilities, signs, chambers, boundaries and other assets.
The X1 Pro can also record static GNSS observations in its internal storage. Data can be transferred through USB or the Wi-Fi WebUI for post-processing and control work. Supported receiver output formats include NMEA, RINEX and the manufacturer’s binary observation format.
Typical Applications
- Topographic and detail surveys
- Construction setting out and as-built checks
- Road, drainage and utility surveys
- GIS asset and infrastructure mapping
- Boundary and land measurement work
- Ground control points for drone surveys
- Static GNSS control observations
Correction Service and Base Station Requirements
This product is configured as an RTK rover set. Centimetre-level real-time positioning requires correction data from a compatible NTRIP or CORS service, or from a separate GNSS base station. Mobile network coverage, correction-service availability and radio compatibility should therefore be checked for the intended working area.
When using UHF corrections, the selected radio protocol, channel spacing and frequency must match the base equipment. Regional transmission rules may also restrict the permitted frequencies or output power.
Buying and Support from Global GPS Systems
Global GPS Systems can help confirm the appropriate RTK network, software, pole, mounting accessories and communication configuration for the intended workflow. This is especially important when matching the rover to an existing base station or choosing equipment for use across different countries.
The SingularXYZ X1 Pro Rover Set is a practical choice for buyers who need a lightweight full-constellation receiver, tilt-compensated measurements and a rugged controller with both touchscreen and physical keyboard operation.
