The South Galaxy G7 RTK GNSS receiver is perfect for all your moving in and out jobs. This so far very competitively priced GPS set gives you the top notch performance you need! The receiver is equipped with a 60 degrees IMU Tilt sensor. This allows you to easily measure at an angle to make it easier to measure the more difficult places.

With the built-in UHF radio, you can work with the rover and base while they are separated, up to a distance of 8 kilometres

The South Galaxy G7 Receiver

The South galaxy G7 is a rugged and versatile multi-GNSS RTK receiver with built-in IMU. It can deliver centimetre-accurate coordinates in RTK mode. RTK mode requires a pair of receivers: one stationary receiver that provides corrections, another that moves and applies corrections and provides the exact coordinates.
The South Galaxy G7 receiver is equipped with a GNSS receiver card with 965 channels. Together with a VRS RTK network subscription, the Galaxy G7 GPS receiver can provide centimetre accuracy in real time. As the receiver supports Galileo, BDS (Beidou), GPS, Glonass, SBAS, IRNSS and QZSS satellite constellations, it can provide a high level of GNSS accuracy even under harsh conditions.
Galaxy G7 Built-in IMU compensator, corrects coordinates automatically within 60° based on tilt direction and angle of the centering rod, helps you measure or stake out points quickly and accurately without leveling the pole, error less than 3 cm within 45° inclination, improves work efficiency by 20%.

What can you expect with the South H6!

GPS Survey pole

Make it easy to carry by mounting everything on a GPS Survey Pole. Recommended length is over 2 metres to minimise interference to your GNSS receiver and improve performance.

Data collector bracket

This is needed to ensure that your data collector stays firmly in place. It prevents it from being damaged unnecessarily and you don’t have to hold it in your hand all day.

Tripod

Used to set up your base receiver. The 3 legs provide great stability to prevent it from falling or moving.

Tribrach

This is used as a mounting platform for your receiver on your tripod. It also requires an adapter which you can choose in the next step.

Adapter

This is the connection between your tribrach and receiver. You can screw your receiver to the adapter and then place the adapter in your tribrach.
